Lifeline
Outreach of Peoria, Arizona is an extension of
Lifeline Outreach , established in 1976 by Rev.
David Hernandez, Pastor of the East Los Angeles.
Lifeline
Outreach of Peoria, Arizona is Christian based
and open to individuals of all nationalities and
ethnic groups who are interested in resolving
the problems brought about by the dependency and
abuse of drugs and alcohol and or by troubled
youth. Lifeline Outreach of Peoria, Arizona services
the Maricopa County and surrounding area jails
and state prisons. We provide counseling and parole/probation
placement to our Lifeline Home. We also correspond
with and visit with inmates. We make requests
and recommendations to the court asking them to
allow men to enter Lifeline Outreach under our
care and treatment for the length of time stipulated
by the court.
APPROACH
While the resident is at Lifeline Outreach and
in detoxification phase, we do not offer any type
of synthetic drug. We plan a program which will
increase relevant knowledge, self awareness and
attitudes appropriate for the provision of one’s
self. He and his family are encouraged to become
active in all aspects of the program.
SERVICES
An
addict or gang member in need of rehabilitation
resides at the Lifeline Home for a period of 6
months to one year. The length of time is determined
upon how the individual responds to the program.
Although the individual is encouraged to stay
at the Lifeline Home until such a time as the
Director feels he is ready,
individuals
may leave whenever they desire to do so. Lifeline
Outreach also offers Court referrals, individual,
group or family counseling, drug information,
drug prevention, referral assistance, and spiritual
therapy.
